Bio

Shelley Carlisle has possessed a lifelong passion for singing, songwriting and performing, relishing the spotlight and grateful for her ability to channel her soul through the gift of song. Her spirit of adventure, versatility, and attention to musical detail enables her to perform a variety of styles, in any venue. Shelley's natural talent came to light when she first began charming audiences at the age of 5. It was confirmed when, as an Jr. High school student, she tested off the charts in musical ability and aptitude. Throughout high school and college, Shelley sang with many choral groups, most notably at the University of Miami's widely recognized School of Music, where she also studied vocals and jazz. From there she came west to California and studied with several well-known instructors, including Lis Lewis, a Vocal Coach/Producer in L.A., and Pilar Montaine, a world-reknowned singer and songwriter from Mill Valley. Shelley has performed with seasoned individual musicians, bands, and symphonies her favorite styles in clubs, private parties and events throughout the Western Untied States. Currently, Shelley is continuing to create original lyrics and music for her solo performances and recordings anywhere in the world. She also coaches singers and musicians to live their dreams with passion, purpose, and abundance on their own stages. Shelley currently resides in San Francisco, California.
